In Padova there is an atmosphere of celebration in the air. Paoul, Italian brand leader and one of the first brands in the dance shoe field, in fact blows out 50 candles, to which the firm dedicates a special event for an entire week, from the 19th until the 25th June, which involves customers, resellers, employees, teachers, dance and Made in Italy enthusiasts.

Katia Pizzocaro, Marketing Manager of the prestigious shoe factory, tells us: «My family and I, we are so proud to celebrate these 50 years of history of our all Italian company, born from the passion of my parents and from the certainty that the commitment, the incessant research, the attention for details, the love for our clients and the esteem towards our resellers, could make the difference. This difference has been lasting since 50 years and it has lead us to become the Italian leaders in the dance shoe field, and it is still present today, with my mother and my sister Cinzia (the stylist of the maison – ed.), we carry on the dream that our father left us in heritage».

It was in 1967 when the brilliance of its founder, Paolo Pizzocaro, together with his wife Maria Teresa, gave life to the company, which became, during the years, interpreter of the passion put on the feet of the best show professionals, and especially of everyone who live at the rhythm of dance. Today, through the daughters Cinzia and Katia, the maison distributes its shoes in Italy, the majority of Europe, North America, Japan, China, Middle East and many other countries.

To honour this anniversary the Venetian company thought to a unique format: an entire week dedicated to the Italian spirit, to the training and to the involvement of all those people who love to dance and love the beauty broadly speaking. In fact, to celebrate its anniversary, Paoul desired to valorise not only its values, but not least, its customers giving them a way to touch with their hands the creativity and to meet the real protagonists: innovation, tradition, Made in Italy and, obviously, dance.

Having an inheritance, as the one Paoul has, is a rare thing and also a privilege that the Pizzocaro family has managed to valorise and transport in this commemorative week «One of our callings is to transfer values as craftsmanship, innovation, tradition, Made in Italy, manual skill, and the ability to work with the hands, moved by the passion for our own job». Comments Cinzia Pizzocaro, the stylist.

Paoul and its history tells a tight bound with the art, the culture of our country and the commonality.
